I'm not sure I've ever actually purchased a pair of shoes at DSW. Nor do I really believe that they are trend setters. Today, however, I received this email ad from them:






If the shoes pictured are back in, then I'm out! I have seen "clogs" that I find lovely, but the ones here are not them. Stay away!

Candy!

Sometimes when I go to Yogurt Land I mix my candy toppings. People say I'm weird...but I say they are weird for mixing their yogurt flavors. I go for the simple yogurt and go extreme on my toppings. So, with no further ado, here are the Dos and Don'ts of candy fun:

Cinnamon bears with skittles - DO
Cinnamon Bears with Sour Sugar candy of any kind - DO
Reeses Pieces with milk chocolate covered raisins - DO
Reeses Pieces with white chocolate covered raisins - DON'T
Skittle with Reeses Pieces - DO
Dark chocolate covered raisins and Skittles - DON'T (seriously, don't)
Cookie dough mixed with anything - DON'T

Killer Hampster!

I have been...

...staring at this dress for about five minutes straight. I can't decide if I hate it or love it. I feel like I might love it and could possibly pull it off...or be mocked relentlessly.

The Turtles

In front of my office there is a pond. In this pond there are turtles. How did the turtles get there, one might wonder, as the pond is man made? And what's more curious: why are the turtles different species of turtle? They hang out on different sides of the pond and have turtle turf wars. Today I tried to take a picture for your viewing pleasure, but the camera was shot out of my hand by tiny turtle guns.

No, they are not changing the rules, just releasing a new edition. I was so excited for a second. I could double my highest score with the new rules!

Rosemary and butter dinner rolls:
Prep Time: 3 Hours Cook Time: 20 Minutes Difficulty: Easy Servings: 7
Ingredients
* Frozen, Unbaked Dinner Rolls
* Melted Butter, Regular, Salted
* Fresh Rosemary, Coarsely Chopped
* Coarse Sea Salt
Preparation Instructions
Spray a small iron skillet with cooking spray (or coat with olive oil). Place frozen rolls in the skillet, leaving plenty of room for rising. Cover and allow to rise for several hours.
After rising, brush rolls with melted butter.
Sprinkle on chopped rosemary. Brush with additional butter. Sprinkle with coarse sea salt.
Bake according to roll package directions (usually 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes), until rolls are a deep golden brown on top.
Serve skillet on the table.

I'm going to try camping again. I know last time I swore it off, but it's just so tempting! Time of departure: 6:30 PM tonight.

On another note, I've got some great trips planned this month. Sacramento and a possible Florida or Hawaii trip. Got to get me some sun!
