"Art is made for the alone by the alone." - Luis Barragán

Edgar Degas - possibly my favorite painter (though I could do without all the nude paintings of women bathing. What is with that?).

He is regarded as one of the founders of Impressionism although he rejected the term, and preferred to be called a realist.

I would have loved to meet him. I bet he is such a wonderfully pretentious jerk. :)

    A transvestite took my order at baskin robins today. He/She didn't even try to hide it.
